Why do hipsters* use triangles? ▲
I’ve seen this everywhere. Every hipster/alternative flickr group have at least one equilateral triangle on its page. Why? It is the same with many tumblr blogs and other websites: the triangle is always present.
What is this triangle culture?
*I mean, hipsters as a group of people not as a pejorative term ;)

Frédérik Chopin - Nocturne in c-sharp (by Alessio Nanni)
exalen asked: "It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence, to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: "And this, too, shall pass away." How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction!"

I just want to feel safe in my own skin
I just want to be happy again
I just want to feel deep in my own world
but I’m so lonely I don’t even want to be with myself anymore
It’s been a rough day. I won’t forget it easily. Many things have been triggered.

I’m having a major exam in less than an hour and I have a really bad stomach ache. Wish me luck :’(
Edit: Thank you very much, my friends! Teachers are mysteriously on strike and the exam date is likely to be changed to May or June :)

Negative Questions
[…] A similar ambiguous question in English is “Do you mind if…?” If the responder does not reply unambiguously “Yes, I do mind,” if they do, or “No, I don’t mind,” if they don’t, a simple “No” or “Yes” answer can lead to confusion, as a single “No” can seem like a “Yes, I do mind,” as in...

Recommend me a movie, s'il vous plaît.
I have a lot of things to read and study but I don’t want to because the weather is awful today and I’m honestly really really tired. Basically, I need an excuse for not doing what I should.
Which movie would you recommend me?

In the seventeenth century, when the French from the Tortuga island (Île de la Tortue) occupied the western part of Hispaniola, they...
